BABIES FIRST BATH

A GENTLE BEGINNING WITH WATER

Baby’s First Bath is a space devoted to early water experiences—created to support babies and caregivers in meeting water with safety, presence, and care.

Rooted in the philosophy of Held In Waters, this work honors water as a relationship, not a skill to be mastered.

Our first offering is First Waters, a guided, in-person course for families at the very beginning of their water journey.

First Waters

An in-person course for early water experiences.

First Waters is a guided, in-person course that supports families as babies meet water in their earliest months.

Rather than focusing on technique or outcomes, the course explores:

  • How babies sense and respond to water

  • How caregivers can offer support through touch, pacing, and presence

  • How early water moments shape trust and comfort over time

First Waters is not about teaching babies what to do in water.
It is about creating conditions where safety, ease, and connection can emerge.

HOW FIRST WATERS IS OFFERED

Although First Waters is a course, it is currently offered in person to allow for responsiveness and attuned support.

In-person guidance allows space for hands-on reassurance and practical support, observing and responding to your baby in real time, and letting the experience unfold at your baby’s pace

Each offering is shaped by the moment, not a script.

CREATED BY HELD IN WATERS
