OUR APPROACH
Water as a language of trust
Child-led, always
We honor your child's cues, boundaries, and readiness — no pressure, no rushing.
Somatic & body-aware
Children learn to feel at home in their bodies before they feel at home in the water.
Caregiver as anchor
For babies and toddlers, caregivers are in the water — that shared presence is where trust is built. For older children, caregivers are warmly invited to watch and be close.
Adaptive & inclusive
Trained in working with children with autism, trauma, and sensory differences — every child is welcome here.
Safety through confidence
Real water safety lives in the body — in ease, regulation, and familiarity with water.
Boundaries, not fear
We guide children to explore water with curiosity — never overwhelm, never force.
Every session is rooted in somatic practice and infant development wisdom. We don't rush milestones. We follow your child's lead — building ease in the body first, so that real safety and real skills have something lasting to grow from.

Not sure which class is right for your child?
A child placed in the right class thrives. A child placed in the wrong one struggles for reasons that have nothing to do with their ability. Read the full class guide — all ages, all levels, all teachers explained.
YOUR GUIDE IN THE WATER
Meet Hannah
Hannah has spent over 25 years immersed in the transformative nature of water — particularly for new mothers, babies, and families in transition. Water was her first teacher. By age 14 she was already sharing that love as a volunteer swim instructor; at 16, she founded Little Splashes in her backyard — a program that now serves over 300 families annually. Her approach weaves together somatic practice, bodywork, sound healing, and a deep reverence for the wisdom of nature.

What water safety really is.
On floaties, rescue swimming, and the thing we're actually protecting.
Real water safety is a relationship. It lives in a child's body — in how their nervous system responds when water touches their face, when they are held, when they are startled. A child who has been trained to perform a safety skill is not the same as a child who is actually safe in water.

WHAT FAMILIES ARE SAYING
Held, trusted, transformed
"From the very first session, I could see my daughter's fear melting away. Hannah has a gift for meeting children exactly where they are. We didn't just learn to swim — we found our way back to joy."
"My son was relaxed from the start, and honestly so was I. These sessions have become something we both look forward to every week."
"Our son has sensory sensitivities and we were told swimming would be hard for him. Hannah's adaptive approach changed everything. He asks to go to 'water class' every single day."
